Authentication failed: expired session

The payment method is enrolled and the buyer has not authenticated him or herself correctly.

This section contains:
- The DS Network interrogated in order to verify card enrollment (OSB).
- The cardholder authentication method. In case of authentication, the method is always “challenge”, i.e. authentication with buyer interaction.
- Authentication details
The detailed timeline of the events is displayed for better traceability in case technical assistance is required.
In this example, the authentication session expired before the buyer finished their entry.
The Details tab contains the reason for refusal: “216: the OTP has expired”.
